What it does

From the first instruction to the next bill.

Keep the day-to-day record of your practice connected: clients, matters, time and billing.

Clients

Keep client contacts and details together, ready to use when opening a matter or preparing a bill.

Cases

Open a case, record your conflict review and follow planning checklists, key dates and document references.

Time recording

Record actual time by case and fee earner. Review unbilled work before adding it to a bill.

Bills and letters

Prepare itemised bills and saved letters using your firm’s details. Review the wording and figures before exporting.

External fee notes

Invite counsel or suppliers to submit fee notes through their own portal, then review and approve them in your workspace.

Taxation preparation

Prepare a structured draft Bill of Costs with work, counsel fees and disbursements for professional review.

How it works

A straightforward way to get started.

Start with your firm’s details. Add the rest as your team gets to work.

Set up your firm

Add your firm’s details and fee earners. Invite colleagues to their own accounts with the access they need.

Bring work together

Create clients and cases, record time and keep track of the next actions on each file.

Review and prepare

Turn recorded work into a draft bill. Check the figures and wording, then export supported documents to PDF or Word.

Pricing

One plan. Sized to your firm.

Subscription pricing is being finalised. The capacity options use the same core features.

No credit card is required to start. The trial does not automatically charge you. ProxiLegal is not a replacement for client-account bookkeeping; legal documents and deadlines need professional review.

Common questions

A few things to know.

Where is our data stored, and who can see it?
The primary application database is hosted in Singapore. Access to firm records is controlled through workspace membership and assigned permissions. External collaborators use a separate invitation-based portal. Optional AI wording assistance uses external processing separate from the database.
How do external fee notes work?
Invite counsel or a supplier to submit a fee note. Your firm reviews the submission and can approve or reject it. Approved costs can then be included in your billing work; the portal is for incoming fee notes, not for issuing a client bill.
Does it prepare a taxation Bill of Costs?
Yes. The workspace includes a structured draft with work, counsel fees, disbursements and claimed/allowed columns. Your team must review the content and suitability for the matter before using it.
How are we charged?
The proposed subscription is based on capacity for 1, 5, 10 or 20 fee earners. Support and secretary accounts are included without an additional seat fee. Pricing is being finalised and will be confirmed before a paid subscription starts.
When does the trial start?
The standard 14-day trial starts when you create your firm. Invited Pilot firms receive 60 days when they activate through a valid invitation. Opening an individual login account alone does not create a firm or start its trial.
Which languages can we use?
The workspace interface supports English and Traditional Chinese. Document language is selected separately where supported; check the final wording before sharing or filing a document.
Does every colleague have their own login?
Yes. Invite colleagues to individual accounts and choose the appropriate role: owner, administrator, read and write, or read only. Access depends on accepting the invitation and the account verification requirements.
Do we need to install anything?
No installation is needed. Use ProxiLegal in a supported web browser with an internet connection.
